Ms. Lim is in her 20th year of teaching, all at Covington Middle School Fine Arts Academy. She received her Bachelor of Music Education and a French minor at Louisiana State University in 2004. At LSU, she was a member of the Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Winds, Symphonic Band and the Golden Band from Tigerland. She was a Band Librarian and Clarinet section leader. Ms. Lim completed a masters degree at Concordia University Texas in Education (Administration).
At Covington, Ms. Lim teaches the Wind Ensemble, Honors Beginning Band, Flute, Oboe, Bassoon, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet and French Horn. Her ensembles have consistently received Sweepstakes at UIL Concert and Sightreading.
Ms. Lim hosts HS Band UIL, Region Auditions, and is the TMEA Region 18 MS Band Chair. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, running (half marathons) and exploring new restaurants.
