Understanding the Signs of Suicide

National Suicide Prevention and Awareness Month

It’s no secret that college is stressful. Classes, athletics, internships, jobs, relationships, families, and other life dynamics can make navigating the university experience even more challenging. For many students, college may be the first time away from family, friends, and other supportive communities.

The resulting stress can lead to some students facing challenging circumstances that might feel unmanageable. Other students might experience suicidal thoughts. Learning the warning signs of depression, anxiety, and suicide is essential because you might have a chance to save a life.
