January 18, 2012 - One compromised CTX email account was used to send over 661,000 pieces of spam, ruining
both the university's email "reputation" and causing other major email sites (such
as Hotmail) to stop accepting email from CTX.
Phishers directly target 20-100 CTX students and employees each month. These are just your average phishing
emails - they are specifically targeted to bypass the university's defenses and be
of interest to college students and employees.
NEVER respond to an email you were not expecting.
ALWAYS check the URL of the website before logging in.
