Dr. Robert Carter is a U.S. Army colonel, an expert in integrative human physiology and performance, and a public health advisor. He completed military assignments in multiple countries and currently holds an academic appointment in emergency medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

What Does Economic Policy Have to Do with Social Impact?
Roberto Newell Garcia is a senior fellow of the Instituto Mexicano para la Competitividad, A.C. (IMCO), a privately sponsored, independent think tank located in Mexico City. He also serves as a board member for various Mexican multinational companies.
The think tank, IMCO, analyzes and proposes policies to enhance Mexico's competitiveness in the global economy. Garcia was the founding director of IMCO, and during his tenure as CEO, the institute became one of the leading proponents of a second wave of reforms to accelerate Mexico's economic development.

Chris Valentine, an alumnus of Concordia University Texas ('92), is the CEO and founder of Adeo InterActive, a full-service event production firm based in Austin, Texas. Over his 25 years of event production experience, he has created a variety of products designed to help companies achieve their unique, tech-related goals. He has also managed high-profile global innovation events for prominent clients, such as AARP, Kauffman Foundation, and NASA.
He also serves as the event producer for SXSW Pitch, a cutting-edge startup competition where companies from around the world compete and showcase leading technological innovations.
