Thanksgiving is a time for Thank You!

Thank you. Everyone likes to be told that their work is important. Everyone likes to be noticed for their generosity and effort of sacrifice. Everyone likes to know that their vocational calling is helping others. Concordia notices you and we want to express a big, giant, grateful: “Thank you!”

Thank you, Donors, for your sacrificial giving towards the mission of empowering students from all backgrounds to receive a Christ-centered education.

Thank you, Alumni, for your vocational investment wherever God has placed you to be a courageous leader filled with compassionate action to serve others.

Thank you, Faculty, for using your knowledge and wisdom to train up the next generation of thoughtful leaders and participants in acting justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly before our God (Micah 6:8).

Thank you, Staff, for serving students with your time, energy, and skill, helping them push forward towards their future.

Thank you, Church Leaders, for receiving our students into your churches and for reminding them that Jesus died and rose for us all, giving us an opportunity to be extremely grateful in all circumstances (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

We join together this season to return that thank you to God for all the blessings provided for us daily. Most of all, we give thanks for Jesus, our Lord, Savior, Shepherd, and Friend.

"Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!" Psalm 107:1

As you gather around the Thanksgiving table, we invite you to remember the Concordia University Texas community in your prayers. Please pray for Christ to always be honored, our students to excel in their vocations, and for the upcoming celebration of the Centennial of God’s faithfulness.

We truly are thankful for each of you.

Happy Thanksgiving!
