The Office of Academic Operations at CTX is committed to accurately reporting and providing equitable access to data related to its institutional characteristics. CTX’s current institutional characteristics and associated data are publicly accessible at any time via CollegeNavigator, which is administered by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) and the United States Department of Education.
This page provides summary reports from the 2012 academic year to the present, based on federally-mandated institutional reporting to The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). Additionally, this page provides archived records of Common Data Set (CDS) reports between the 2006 and 2017 academic years.

IPEDS Data Reports
All institutions which participate in federal financial assistance authorized by Title IV of the Higher Education Act are required by federal law to report various components of institutional characteristics and data. These reports are sent to The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) which is administered by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). Once all required data has been reported to and validated by the NCES, summary versions of reported data are then sent to CollegeNavigator, which is also administered by NCES. CollegeNavigator is a publicly accessible data repository which allows users to view current institutional characteristics and data. This same data is also used by third-party aggregators such as US World News & World Report or CollegeBoard.
Additionally, at the end of each reporting period, each institution receives access to their updated Data Feedback Report. This report provides the institution with both a summary of their reported data for the academic year in question, but more specifically, puts the data into larger context by comparing it with a group of institutions with similar enrollment, program offerings, and governance/control. For CTX, this means that the reports compare our reported data with private/not-for-profit institutions with similar enrollment that also offer graduate-level degrees.

Common Data Set
The Common Data Set (CDS) initiative is an optional, collaborative effort among data providers in the higher education community. It primarily relies on data already reported to The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS), and this same data is also visible in summary form via CollegeNavigator. Both IPEDS and CollegeNavigator are administered by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), which is a subdivision of the United States Department of Education.
